Two blades that convert Sierra Nevada to a giant skating rink 🙂
Snows rackets are two items with a plastic or metal frame that’s attached to the boots, which allow us to easily glide through the snow or ice. They give us a wider surface than our boots and thanks to this they distribute our weight evenly, prevent our feet from sinking and allow us to “float” over the mountain.
Hiking with snow rackets is one of the most enjoyable winter activities of active tourism because it doesn’t require any prior learning and it allows us to enjoy the mountain in a special way.
This means of transport has been used since antiquity, and helps us discover the most untouched and quiet parts of Sierra Nevada, a few hours away from the bustle of the ski resort.
Snow rackets are utensils that are attached to the boots and allow us to move more comfortably on snow-covered ground. Thanks to the larger surface of the footstep they prevent us from sinking into the snow and offer us a pleasant feeling of floating.
We adapt the snow rackets routes to the level of each group.
A certified tour guide, liability and accident insurance, introduction beforehand of the snow rackets hiking route with a map of the area, rental of the snow rackets, water bottle and photo report.
Hiking boots, waterproofed pants, jacket, gloves, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Groups of 4-8 participants: 65 € / participant including transfers from the Costa del Sol.
