From the white village of Istán to the village of Monda, with its picturesque castle of Villeta, we’ll have the opportunity to pass through very different landscapes, where varied vegetation is to be found, such as: Cork Oak, Gall Oak, Spanish Fir (Pinsapo), Lemon, Orange and Avocado trees.

The village of Istán is situated in the base of Rio Verde where the great mass of Cork Oak, mixed with Gall Oak and Spanish Fir (Pinsapo), is giving this place an unmeasurable scenic and ecological interest. Halfway between the valley and the mountain range we’ll find Monda, where we’ll find the castle of Villeta, the most outstanding feature of the town. Monda is full of history and in 1971 it was declared to a “Picturesque Landscape” thanks to its beauty. Along the way of our 4 hours long 4×4 route, we’ll pass by areas with fruit-bearing trees, such as Oranges, lemons and avocado. We may also enjoy the view of the Bonelli and Golden Eagles flying over the mountain.
A certified tour guide who’s an expert of the terrain, liability and accident insurance, introduction beforehand of the route with a map of the area, water and a photo report of the activity.
