The municipality of Tolox belongs to the Sierra de las Nieves region and in 1989 its mountains were declared a Natural Park due to its high landscape and ecological value. In the Sierra de Tolox is Torrecilla, the highest point of the Natural Park and Western Andalusia, with its 1,919m. An ancient forest full of mountain gall oaks extends throughout the area. Setting our sights on the lowest part of the deepest ravines we will see the Yedra fir, one of the tallest and most isolated in the Natural Park. This is one of the most beautiful 4×4 routes that can be enjoyed in the Sierra de las Nieves given its exceptional biological and landscape value.
