From Marbella, climbing up on forest tracks towards Ronda, the picturesque town. The reservoir of Istán will be the first landscape that amazes us, thanks to the colour of its water and the white mountain village. We will follow the road crossing parts of the Natural Park of the Sierra de las Nieves, where we will make some stops to see the Pinsapo, a kind of fir that, in Spain, can only be found in the Sierra de las Nieves, which has helped categorize this as a Natural Park and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Along the way we will also find Oaks, Olive trees, chestnut and fig trees besides the typical Mediterranean bush. A must that you can not miss when going on this 4 × 4 route is the short hike that leads you to the ancient Sacred Chestnut tree, which is absolutely spectacular. Once in Ronda we will complete the tour with a visit to the beautiful old town, or making the famous Via Ferrata of the Tajo de Ronda.
